Reverse: 1999 is a 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG developed by Bluepoch.

On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.

As the Timekeeper, observer of eras, you are free to travel through these eras after each "Storm." With the aid of Sonetto, a powerful Arcanist and ally from the Foundation, your mission is to travel through eras to where the "Storm" is most active, find other Arcanists who can sense the coming "Storm," and save them from being "sifted out" of the timeline.

Ratings and reviews

I've been playing since release, and this game's story, concept, and execution are top-notch. The gacha mechanics are good but not central to access the story. You are not hard gated behind exponentially increasing resources as the characters have level caps they will hit. The voice acting in English is a bit weird, but somehow, it fits the universe, I hope the other language packs do the same thing. Play at night right before bed or in the morning, as the rain atmosphere sets the tone.

I have been playing this game for over a year now and I LOVE IT!!! I've played quite a few gacha games and this one is by far the best. The story is absolutely phenomenal and the cliffhangers always leave me wanting more. The gameplay is honestly quite easy yet fun. The characters are AMAZING! Everything from their design to their personality, I just cannot get enough. I would also recommend looking further into the banner system before you really start pulling!

I really REALLY like the character design! Really a lot! But my lord does it take a lot to get characters leveled. Leveling them up takes so much of the money currency and the triangle currency and you do not get it quickly grinding for it. And the energy cap for doing the grinding stages is not high, making it take weeks to get enough. I started dreading getting new characters because of the grind. I started avoiding opening the app. And I have uninstalled now. Rebalancing needed.
