It started as an idea between friends - a casual cafe in Hollywood that would utilize seasonal local ingredients to create gourmet breakfast and lunch dishes at an affordable price. Friends and partners Kamil Majer and David Fris shared that dream, which ultimately became a reality in 2006 when the first Blu Jam Cafe opened its doors on Melrose Avenue. Visitors can indulge in our signature Crunchy French Toast or explore lighter fare with the Power House – and everything in between—our lively and inviting ambiance pairs perfectly with an unwavering approach to quality, service, and culinary innovations. Table #2 will always have a special place in our hearts. Fresh ingredients, including produce, are delivered all week long at each location. We strive to serve the best, so we source the best. We take pride in partnering with smaller companies, farms, and purveyors because we believe in attention to detail, quality, and service. This is the Blu Jam way.
