Super terrible performance. The app is sluggish even on an iPad Mini 4. I bought an ASUS tablet to help with reading and waiting upwards 10 seconds per page flip is astonishingly bad. The iPad is better with a 3 to 5 second delay between page flips. I rented books through this expecting an experience similar to kindle or iBooks or even a basic pdf reader and kinda got shafted. I will go with Amazon in the future if the opportunity arises.
This is not a well built app whatsoever. It asks me to login, and then it sends me directly to the website via my browser...I can do that on my own...thanks. Then, when I'm in the browser and I'm in the book, I click on "Launch App" and it sends me to the Play Store and gives me the error message "Item not found." P.S. - The books on the web aren't very user friendly either by the way. It's unfortunate that the, now one and only, book store cannot create very good ebooks.
Didn't even want to purchase the ebook in the first place because I knew I wouldn't be able to access the book offline. This is also the reason why I didn't want to download the app. But I did since this was the only version the book available. The app sucks! I can't even log in to get to the book on my phone, so I uninstalled and will be printing the pages I need which is an inconvenience when I could have had the book in hand. And the book it self is crazy expensive. Why is it 120 something dollars????? Will never use this service again.
Unable to Access Ebook I have been trying for 3 days straight to access an ebook purchased and can't even login. I called Yuzu 6 times, no response. Left messages, no response. Sent an email, no response. Now I know one of the reasons why people pirate books. I ordered a physical copy of the book and will get a refund from B&N and never deal with Yuzu again.
I'm not able to recreate any of the problems everyone else is talking about. Rented my textbook on my laptop and made an account there, received my text almost instantly, then downloaded the app. It honestly runs very smoothly for me! Really glad this was an option, it cut my cost for my textbooks by over half!! So grateful. If only all of them were like this
The customer support is terrible. They'll respond to you once per day, and they don't even listen to what you're telling them. The app works fine, but the customer service has really soured my experience here.
