Bolt Tumble is classic Sudoku, built for people who actually play it.
Every one of the 120 grids is generated and then checked by a solver, so each board has
exactly one solution and can always be finished by reasoning — never by guessing. Eight
circuits of fifteen grids take you from gentle Spark boards down to Tempest boards with
only 26 clues on the table.
A fresh Daily Challenge arrives every calendar day, seeded from the date, so everyone plays
the same board.
WHAT YOU GET
• 120 hand-paced grids across eight circuits
• Four difficulty tiers: Spark, Surge, Storm and Tempest
• A new Daily Challenge every day
• Pencil-mark notes with a one-tap notes mode
• Unlimited undo and a clean erase
• A hint that tells you WHY the digit fits, not just what it is
• Live mistake tracking with a per-difficulty allowance
• Running timer and a saved best time for every grid
• Three-star scoring: finish clean, with no mistakes and no hints, to take all three
• Automatic save — leave a grid half-finished and pick it up later
ASSISTS, EARNED NOT BOUGHT
Clean solves pay out Bolts. Spend them mid-grid on Hint, Scan (flags every wrong digit on
the board), Auto-Notes (fills every legal candidate) or Second Wind (hands back two
mistakes). There is one currency, it is earned by playing, and there is nothing to buy with
real money — no in-app purchases anywhere in the app.
SEVEN BOARD SKINS
Bolts also unlock board skins that re-paint the grid: Neon Circuit, Marble Hall, Blueprint,
Aurora, Tempest and Solar Brass, alongside the house Dusk Lattice board.
BUILT TO BE READABLE
Highlight the selected cell's row, column and box; turn the timer off if it distracts you;
switch on bold digits or high contrast; turn off every ambient animation with one Reduced
Motion toggle. Big tap targets, no tiny candidate icons — just crisp digits.
COMPLETELY OFFLINE
No account. No sign-in. No ads. No analytics. No network calls of any kind — the release
build requests no Android permissions at all. Puzzles are generated on your device, so the
app works on a plane, on the subway, and anywhere else with no signal.
Twelve badges track the long game, from your first solved grid to clearing all 120.
