DaTuner's display is easy to read
Nearest note and octave is displayed in a giant, easy to read font, and frequency in hertz plus error in cents is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Sensitivity is auto-adjusted, but can also be adjusted by touch via a bar on the left-hand side of the screen, and the speed/accuracy of the algorithm and the relative frequency can be adjusted via the configuration menu.

No Dead Zone
There is no "dead zone" with this tuner app as is the case with many other apps. Instead, the whole display turns green when the incoming frequency is within a configurable range of the target frequency and you can still see changes in pitch even in the "in-range" area. Both the "in-tune" range and the colors shown for sharp and flat can be configured.

I've had this app for many many years. There would be an ad at the bottom of the page which is manageable and I loved it. It was perfect, hence why I kept it so long. NOW it has a home screen...idk why but when you click on anything an ad pops up that doesn't allow you to exit out at all. It is no longer a tuner just made for ads to display. It has gone from useful to useless. I have no issue with the Uninstall button as there are many more apps out there and unfortunately this one met its fate

The advanced settings don't work. My main problem is the in-tune range setting. Just because my note is 2.5 cents out of range doesn't mean it's out of tune. Even if you can't change that, they could have made it 10 cents like any other tuner. It also has trouble detecting the notes E1 and lower. Other than that, it's a great app. 👍

I used to love this app. I've had it for about 13 years or so. The ads have just become too much. Unfortunately there are other free tuner apps that do just as good of a job that don't harass you with ads. Aside from the ads the app has become way too glitchy. I'll play a note or sing a note and it can take 10-15 seconds for the app to register the note. This makes it useless for my purpose of checking intonation in real time.
