About this app

ABS+ is a small, fast player for your own Audiobookshelf server. Sign in with your server address, username and password, and your books and podcasts are right there.

LISTEN
• Stream audiobooks and podcast episodes from your server
• Books split into many files play as one, with a single timeline
• Lock screen, notification, headset and Bluetooth controls
• Skip back and forward 30 seconds, playback speed from 0.8× to 2×
• Picks up where you left off, even after the app was closed

PROGRESS THAT FOLLOWS YOU
• Progress syncs to your server, so other Audiobookshelf apps and the web player stay up to date
• Continue listening shows what you're in the middle of, from any device
• Share progress on a book with another account (for example, listening together with a partner). You choose the titles and confirm, and the app asks before jumping to their position.

OFFLINE
• Download whole books or single podcast episodes
• When the server can't be reached, ABS+ switches to offline mode by itself and shows only what's downloaded. Progress is uploaded once you're back online.
• See and remove all downloads in one place

ORGANIZE
• Cover grid for every library, with search by title or author
• Series from your server
• Favorites that sync across your devices
• Recently played on this device

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
ABS+ only talks to the server you sign in to. No accounts with us, no analytics, no ads, no tracking.

ABS+ needs an Audiobookshelf server (audiobookshelf.org) that you or someone you know runs. ABS+ is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by the Audiobookshelf project.

What’s new

Downloads you can see and count on: the download button fills as it downloads, progress shows in the notification shade, and a list of downloads in progress lets you cancel them. Downloads keep going in the background and pick up where they stopped after the app closes or the connection drops.
