Addiction is a chronic illness, its treatment must be carried out over several months or years, but patients suffering from addiction are less compliant with care than patients suffering from other pathologies, including psychiatric ones. Indeed, there are frequent comorbidities between pathologies of the attachment system (borderline and antisocial personality disorders) and addictions, responsible for difficulty in adhering to care. Ces difficultés sont renforcées par les addictions qui accentuent les troubles relationnels, l’isolement et le repli social. In addition, patients with this dual diagnosis (addiction and personality disorder) will present more severe addictive disorders with lower adherence to care. For these patients, the implementation of pro-active care promoting alliance with care is therefore essential and constitutes a large part of the treatment. It is in this context that the team from the Maurice Dide Addictology Support and Prevention Center (CSAPA), Innov'Pôle Santé (IPS) of Toulouse University Hospital and the company BOTdesign have developed an application called “Projet ALMA.” Cet outil facilite les liens avec l’équipe soignante et la continuité des soins entre les consultations. It makes it possible to facilitate exchanges with the healthcare team and promote the empowerment of patients who will have tools available to them that can be used at home in order to complete the care developed in consultation.
