HOW IT WORKS
BrainGuard runs quietly in the background. After a configurable period of screen use, it triggers an intervention screen. The child must complete a short brain break before returning to their device. The mandatory rest period is tracked even when the screen is locked.

BrainGuard collects zero data. Everything stays on your device. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.

Note: BrainGuard requires Device Administrator permission to prevent unauthorized uninstallation. Accessibility Service is optional but recommended for full protection.
ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE NOTICE
BrainGuard optionally uses Android's Accessibility Service. This feature must be manually enabled by a parent or guardian. It is used solely to detect when a different app is opened during a mandatory rest period, to remind the child that rest time is not yet complete. BrainGuard does not read screen content, record keystrokes, or collect any personal data through this service.
