About this app

Blik is a privacy-first screenshot manager that connects to your own Nextcloud server. Take a screenshot on your phone; Blik finds it, lets you organize it, and uploads it to your self-hosted cloud. No third-party servers. No ads. Your data stays yours.

LIBRARY
Browse all your screenshots in a clean two-column grid. Filter by status (pending, uploaded), notes, starred, or AI-assigned category. Search across filenames, notes, tags, and AI descriptions. See at a glance which screenshots are safely backed up and which are waiting.

UPLOAD TO NEXTCLOUD
Connect to your Nextcloud instance with a single tap using Nextcloud Login Flow; no passwords typed into the app. Choose your destination folder using a built-in WebDAV folder browser. Upload individually, in bulk, or let the app handle it automatically in the background. Supports Wi-Fi only and charging-only constraints.

AI ORGANIZATION
Paste your own Claude or OpenAI API key and let AI analyze your screenshots. It generates a description, assigns a category (travel, food, technology, finance, and more), and suggests tags; all in a single API call. Screenshots are automatically sorted into subfolders on Nextcloud by category. AI runs on your own API key, so you stay in control of costs and privacy.

PER-SCREENSHOT TOOLS
Tap any screenshot to open its detail view. Add a personal note, tag it, create a task in Tasks.org, run AI analysis on demand, or view it fullscreen with pinch-to-zoom. See exactly where it lives on Nextcloud and whether the local copy still exists.

PRIVACY BLUR
Blur any screenshot directly in the gallery so sensitive content isn't visible while scrolling. Blur is stored per screenshot and persists across sessions. Nothing is changed on the file; blur is display-only within Blik.

STARRING
Star your most important screenshots and filter to see only starred ones instantly.

MULTI-SELECT
Long-press any screenshot to enter selection mode. Select as many as you want, then upload, delete, blur, or star them all at once.

NEXTCLOUD TAB
See everything already on your Nextcloud; including screenshots uploaded from other devices. Each file shows whether a local copy exists on your phone. Tap any file for details, long-press for multi-select, and delete from Nextcloud directly.

SMART DELETION
Blik knows where your screenshot lives. Deleting an uploaded screenshot gives you three choices: remove from phone only, remove from Nextcloud only, or remove from both. Files deleted externally from your phone's gallery are automatically detected and marked as cloud-only on next scan.

SECURITY
Optional biometric lock protects access to your screenshots and Nextcloud credentials.
