About this app

Break is one quiet home for the two things you organize every day:
your files and your notes.

No account. No cloud. No tracking. Everything lives on your phone,
works offline, and stays yours.

YOUR FILES STAY YOURS
• You pick the folder Break keeps your files in — Documents, or
anywhere else you like
• Open that folder in any file manager: they are ordinary files, in
ordinary folders, with their real names
• Uninstall Break and your files are still there. Nothing is trapped
inside the app

YOUR OWN FLAGS
• Create colored flags and name them anything — Work, Urgent, School
• Flag files, folders and notes; anything can carry several at once
• Tap a flag to see everything wearing it

FILES
• Make folders, import documents and photos, or share them into Break
from any app
• Choose whether importing copies a file or moves it
• Open, rename, move, delete — and drag folders anywhere you like
• Lock a folder with a password and its contents are encrypted on your
phone, so other apps see only the file names

NOTES
• A clean editor with formatting, checklists and images
• Templates: lecture notes and a to-do list
• Deleted notes wait 30 days in Trash, so nothing is lost by accident
• Save any note out as a plain text file — your words are never
trapped in here

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Break has no servers, and it does not even ask for internet
permission — it cannot send your data anywhere. Your files and notes
never leave your device unless you share them yourself.

Settings → Send feedback, and it comes straight to the developer.

What’s new

Break is out of beta.

Your files now live in a folder you pick — Documents, or anywhere you
like. Open it in any file manager, and it stays there even if you
uninstall Break.
