I built BreakCount because I kept losing track of how far away the next break was. Now it tells me exactly — days, hours, minutes.
You pick your country, and the app loads your school calendar automatically. No setup beyond that. The countdown starts and it just works.
What's inside:
Countdown — the main screen shows how long until your next break, a progress ring for the school year, and the upcoming break dates at a glance. It updates in real time.
Schedule — build your weekly timetable once. The app figures out what class you're in right now and what's coming up next, so you don't have to do the mental math every morning.
Exams — log your tests and exams with dates and subjects. You'll get a reminder before each one. Nothing gets forgotten.
AI Photo Scan — if your school gives you a printed timetable, you can just photograph it and the app reads it for you. It uses Groq or Gemini depending on which API key you provide. Completely
optional.
Home screen widgets — four sizes to choose from. The countdown lives right on your home screen without ever opening the app.
A few things worth knowing:
Works offline. All 34 country calendars are bundled inside the app — no internet required to check your countdown.
No account. Nothing to sign up for, no passwords, no email address needed.
Free. No ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases.
Your data stays on your phone. Your schedule, your exams, your preferences — stored locally, never uploaded anywhere.
