I'd give this 2.5 stars. The iPhone version of this app is so much smoother with more features. I can't upload a picture of a bill from my gallery like I can on apple. When the individual totals come up at the end, on apple you could tap on one person's name to expand and show each of their items got and collapse if needed so I'd only have to take one screenshot of everyone's total. When editing the bill, you long press to edit/split each item, but on apple you'd quickly swipe to the left.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Only thing I wish the app could do is retrieve your friends list from Venmo so that you can easily request money from your Venmo friends who don't have the app. I like the idea of others being able to join a bill of they have the app, but if you're in a group of 12+ people and some of them might be drunk, it's a little too much to ask them to download the app, join the bill, and pay me that way; whereas if I spent 5 minutes allocating the transactions myself and requested people a certain amount of money, they could just click "accept" on the Venmo notification on their phone. Other than that, the app is great (image recognition works a lot better than I expected it to) and it definitely has the potential to be even better.

Major flaw: not being able to upload a previously taken photo to use in app. As far as I can tell, the photo must be taken in the app right when you are creating the bill. Would also like to see an option that calculates tip off of subtotal + tax because sometimes restaurants auto add tip this way. Would also be improved by being able to name your bills so it's not just unnamed by the date. Generally great concept for an app and hope these items can be added!
