About this app

Scroll The Classics turns a few spare minutes into real reading. Open the app and you are one tap from the first page of a great book: the original text from a carefully sourced edition, not summaries or quotes stripped of context.

READ THE WHOLE BOOK
Every book is presented in its original order, chapter by chapter, in short passages you move through with a swipe. Go back any time. Your place is saved automatically, so Continue reading always picks up where you left off.

50 CLASSICS IN FIVE COLLECTIONS
Philosophy & Wisdom, Literary Masterpieces, Romance & Coming-of-Age, Mystery, Horror & Adventure, and Science Fiction & Fantasy. Read Pride and Prejudice, Crime and Punishment, Anna Karenina, Moby-Dick, The Odyssey, Dracula, Frankenstein, Sherlock Holmes, Jane Eyre, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Meditations by Marcus Aurelius and many more. Choose the collections you love when you start, and they come first in your Library.

KNOW WHAT YOU’RE OPENING
Each book has its own page with a short introduction, its real opening lines, a note on the author and the edition it comes from.

DISCOVER GREAT PASSAGES
Browse a hand-picked feed of striking passages from across the library. Each one shows its book and author. Tap Read in Context to open the book at that exact place. Browsing never counts as pages read.

SAVE WHAT MOVES YOU
Bookmark a passage and return to it from Saved, right where it sits in the book.
