It was great while it worked. Lost the Wi-Fi connection about 8 hours into my first use (in the middle of the night). Now, my grill connects with full bars, but the app says it's offline. I've tried resetting the grill, reinstalling the app, splitting my 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi networks, turning off the 5 GHz altogether, and anything else I could think of. There's nothing I can do to keep the app and grill consistently connected. I think I'm going to give up and return it.

This app keeps telling me that my smoker is offline. The smoker shows it is connected to the wifi. if I try to reconnect it the app will recognize the smoker, green check all the steps indicating that the smoker is connected, and when I go into the smoker control menu it shows the smoker as offline. All the other features are kinda linked to connecting the smoker to the app, so the AI might be nice, but what's the point if it can't upload a recipe to the smoker?

I cooked up a brisket using their AI and it was phenomenal. Super easy. I got the perfect bark, deep smoke ring, and it was incredibly tender. At CES 2025, Brisk It showcased the AI image recognition, which generates recipes for automated cooking. The app is effortless, delivering a true hands-free experience. Managing the grill was not just easy but also fun.
