When it does work, its nice it just randomly disconnects from the smoker for no reason. it did it in the middle of my smoke, so my meat probes didnt go off. a notification "hey your smoker cant connect anymore" would be nice so id at least know to check it. it once disconnected for over a week, then randomly started working again (the app might have updated, wasnt paying attention). the smoker says its connected, the app just can't find it. the ai is a waste of time too.

Avoid this brand. The app opens with a useless statement asking what is my primary wellness focus rather than taking me to the functions. The grill has never worked for more than 15 minutes together. I have wasted time trying to prepare food only to switch to my other grill or my oven. I've wasted time replacing parts or duplicating troubleshooting with the company. They won't help.

It was great while it worked. Lost the Wi-Fi connection about 8 hours into my first use (in the middle of the night). Now, my grill connects with full bars, but the app says it's offline. I've tried resetting the grill, reinstalling the app, splitting my 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi networks, turning off the 5 GHz altogether, and anything else I could think of. There's nothing I can do to keep the app and grill consistently connected. I think I'm going to give up and return it.
