GQ Wearable is a wearable safety support service that assists in the safety management of industrial site workers using compatible Samsung Galaxy Watches and mobile phones.

■ Key Features of the Watch App

• Display of Wearable Sensor Measurements

Displays heart rate, oxygen saturation (SpO₂), stress reference values, activity information, and wrist skin temperature measurements supported by compatible Galaxy Watches.

• Safety Alerts Based on Sensor Measurements

Provides safety check alerts to the wearer if measurements fall outside a pre-set reference range. By considering both activity status and wear status, it reduces unnecessary alerts caused by movement or non-wearing.

• Suspected Fall Alerts and SOS

When a suspected fall event is detected on the watch or the user initiates an SOS, the safety event is transmitted to the G server, allowing authorized safety managers or connected mobile phone users to verify the situation.

• Location and Hazard Zone Alerts

Utilizes GPS and Wi-Fi-based location data to support worker location tracking, and displays alerts on the watch when the worker approaches a registered hazardous zone. • Attendance Recording Support

Supports the attendance recording function based on Wi-Fi and location information registered at the workplace.

• Wear OS Tile

You can check your stress reference value, watch wear status, phone connection status, and battery information at a glance on the watch’s ‘GQ Status’ tile. Pressing the SOS button on the tile takes you to the SOS confirmation screen in the GQ app.

• Watch Face Info Display (Complication)

You can add GQ’s stress reference value or SOS shortcut to the information display area of ​​compatible watch faces. Pressing the SOS Info Display takes you to the SOS confirmation screen in the GQ app, where the user can confirm the SOS transmission.

■ Phone Companion App

The phone companion app provides functions for connecting worker codes, checking watch connection status, displaying certain sensor measurements and location information, and configuring services.

■ Use of Personal Information and Data

To provide services, activity information, sensor measurements, safety events, and location information may be transmitted to the GQ server. This information is used to provide worker safety support functions and to provide notifications to authorized safety managers or connected users.
