There is another oddity. When I select an email from the list, the selected email shows up very briefly - less than a second - then another message opens which then must be closed to to go on to select the message originally required. I have a new problem trying to download attachments to emails. I frequently get a Download Failed message. Why does this happen.

Suddenly, without my making any changes to Settings, I'm not able to Forward any messages (a client emailed me to say that they were still waiting for the message I'd promised to forward. They are stuck in the Outbox. A very unhelpful message stating: Could not send. Please check your network connection or try again later. My network connection is perfect and normal Send message and other email functionality fine. Come on BT, how about some of your "engineers" try to solve this fault.

I really miss my slick Yahoo email which was included in my package for many years, as a BT phone & broadband customer!!. It worked really well, aseamless service. Now switched I'm paying £7.50 a month, for a pretty poor substitute. Yes It works! But blank screen, endless buffering, poor zoom, as font size can be ridiculously small sometimes, then having to type out contact addresses is a pain. Ok so we're expecting an update to this app to fix these issues. When? As it cannot come soon enough!

What’s new

This release features fixes on accessibility issues and attachment of embedded images for you. It also comes with a change to the Email ID login screen which looks the same as Webmail.
