About this app

** A BuckScore subscription is required to score photos, this app is only a companion to a web-based service.

Ever wondered how to score deer? Curious what the easiest way to score a deer is? BuckScore® is your answer! Holding two U.S. issued patents, BuckScore® is the only science-proven program that allows you to score pictures of bucks in minutes. The app accurately estimates antler size including spread, beam length, tine length, and circumference all to calculate a Net and Gross score within 3% of the actual score. With BuckScore®, you have one app that organizes, documents, and scores all of your big bucks. Take a trail cam photo and get new insights with the ability to estimate the score of a buck on the hoof. Calculate size on harvest photos from years past. BuckScore® is easier and saves you time over the normal tape and note pad mess. Join BuckScore® Today!

* The BuckScore® program’s accuracy is contingent upon the quality of your photo, the accuracy of the reference feature, accurate buck information (age of buck and location by state), and the manual insertion of measurement points input by the individual. These elements are also used to determine if the photo is “scoreable”. The BuckScore® program’s final gross and net score accuracy comes from your ability to measure the reference feature perfectly. On mobile, as convenient as it may seem, your finger/stylus can add extra error to scoring if not measured properly. The BuckScore® program is not an “automatic” program as it does requires manual drawing of start and stop points on each measurement to achieve an accurate result. If you are not satisfied with the ability of the BuckScore® program, please contact us for additional resources and help from a BuckScore® specialist.

Total BS. The app does not work to score deer. The whole point of the app is to be able to score a deer from a picture. But unless you have the deer in front of you and you have a measuring tape out, dont bother. I have even tried scoring deer that i have mounted and certified. The app gives me a score that is 30-40 points off. To top it off, my "Canceled" subscription is charging me $5.42 even though i canceled within the "Free Trial" time frame. Dont get this app

Need a free trial. You can search youtube and google for feild scoring a buck and be just as accurate. I tested it on 10 different bucks 110" to 162". The most important thing is to get the angle and reference measurement correct. If they aren't the score will be off by +/- 12". So when i first scored the deer they where all of by +/- 10". The only reason I could get accurate scores was by tweaking the measurements...
