About this app

Learn a language with 12,000 words and phrases in every language we offer. Fluentist is a language learning app for 22 languages — Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and more — with illustrated vocabulary, native audio, spaced repetition, offline learning and an AI coach that drills the words you actually get wrong.

12,000 words and phrases. Per language. Not across all of them — in every single one. That's 6,043 words, each with its own illustration, and 6,085 phrases, all with natural-sounding audio. Most vocabulary apps ship two to five thousand.

And you learn it one card at a time. A word, a picture, natural audio, a real sentence. You say how well you knew it; we handle when you see it again. Five minutes a day is the whole idea.

The Starter level is free, works offline, and needs no account. Sign in free with Google, or with email, to learn up to three languages at once and sync progress across devices.

Fluentist Premium unlocks the full 12,000-item library in every language, offline downloads, and the live AI Coach. Without Premium the coach still runs guided practice on the words you missed, using scripted drills rather than live AI.

Fluentist Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly and yearly. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel any time in Google Play > Subscriptions.
