I have used Audials for years, and for the most part it's been pretty good. I like that it shows a preview of what songs are currently playing under the stations in Favorites, for example. But now they've added an ad banner, and currently the only way to remove it is to pay $74.90 for Premium, which includes a whole lot of stuff I don't want/care about. I just want the radio app without ads, which should cost a LOT less than that.

Hello Robert Walker, thanks for your review. The banner advertisement was introduced to help us maintain and continue offering the free version of Audials Play without limiting its core functionality. This allows us to keep improving the app and providing updates for all users.

Why do i have to upgrade every year? when I first bought Audials I was under the impression that paying for premium or gold whatever the most expensive version was two years ago meant that I was buying those features for as long as I wanted them. the last two yearly "upgrades" did not improve any features I use, just added stuff I don't need or want. Just sell a reasonably priced subscription for recording multiple radio programs and dump all the other junk.

OK, just tried Audials again after a VERY disappointing problem last time I tried it 10 years ago. The issue from then is, BTW, no longer relevant today. Anyways, I was forced to look for another streaming radio app recently to add a Christmas station. I was very pleased to see it has a southern gospel station a friend of mine owns (most such apps don't). One minor complaint -- I can't add Jazz Radio Network's "Jazz Lovers Christmas". Other than that, I'm enjoying this app.
