Ratings and reviews

While I really like this app, I cannot give it full stars because of a BAFFLING choice to not have a section-by-section way to review vocab. A list of vocab or flash cards would be great, but you will need to make those yourself, unfortunately. EDIT: This is an especially big deal for those not learning a language with a similar alphabet to English (eg Spanish, German, French). For instance, Japanese learners learning the kanji for vocabulary may not be comfortable writing the kanji accurately.

This app is really good at teaching you the grammar of the language and is probably one of the best I have seen, but there are problems. For one, they don't have most languages, only a few choice languages. For two, I paid for premium and it sayed that was the highest thing but then it showed platinum. You can't do half of the stuff without platinum. And the third problem, They have very little practice with everything you're learning. overall, it's an ok app but not worth the money.

The Japanese course is nice. I'm learning a lot; a good change from Duolingo. I don't like how you can fail matching games completely by making one mistake. I don't like that failed study lessons don't extend the streak. Exercises that require you to complete a sentence word by word should tell you what the sentence is trying to say in English first - they often include entirely new words. Very long, contextless sentences to compose from a list in N4 JP. No dictionary or even quick ref.
