Love riding your PEV but find it incomprehensibly difficult to know where the good trails are? Welcome to Ride Hermes.
We aim to be your one-stop shop for all things related to riding trails and enjoying your PEV. With Ride Hermes, you can find all of the fun trails near you or even create your own. Once you've fallen in love with a trail and feel pretty confident. Have your buddies ride the trail and see how your time stacks up with theirs. Don't stop there though, find the trails the professionals are riding and try to beat them! Soon, you'll be the talk of the town!

Forced to give too much permission. App wants location data "All the time" which is more than necessary when other apps such as Strava work fine with "Allow only while using the app." Even a warning would be nice but you can't even bypass the setting in order to get into the app to try it out without giving full location data all the time. I uninstalled it immediately. Hopefully the developer will change this and I look forward to trying it out in the future.

Hey Jasen, thank you for leaving a review! The next update will not require permissions unless attempting to record a ride or wanting to use your current location to find nearby trails. I am actively working to resolve the need for requiring the "All the time" permission. Please understand that no location data is logged unless actively recording.

This app as of the last 3 months has failed to record my wife's rides. I thought it was her phone. We got new phones now both our phones don't want to record more that a Mile before it pauses. I've tried everything, wifi off, all permissions, battery saver l any type of sleep settings. Idk I love this app 5 stars but we NEED this solved plz and thank you.

Hey Jordan, I am very sorry you’re experiencing that!! Please know I am actively working on fixing this and hope to have the update out as soon as possible. There have been a few reports of users having issues so you are not alone in this. I thank you for writing this review to let me know!

Appreciate the devs adding ESK8. Now we need metric distances and speed options, as well as editing and deleting past rides. It would also be great if the route map updated with the path taken while riding.

Thank you for taking the time to review my app, Jim! I love seeing more types of PEVs join! Metric options will be coming within the next couple of updates. Editing and deleting rides will be within the next two updates (you can currently edit your ride on the website). The real-time path updating is a fantastic idea! Will get that added!
