Many restaurants are having problems employing workers, whether it is due to shortage of available workers, or due to high minimum wage regulations. To solve the problem, many full-service restaurants have adopted QR-ordering, allowing diners to order using their own mobile phones.

However, a food server still has to be employed to serve the food to the table that placed the order. QR-ordering is not available for use in self-collect restaurants due to the lack of a paging function that notifies the diners that their food is ready for collection.

BYO Order closes the loop by providing the paging function when the food is ready for self-collection. By using our proprietary contactless queue technology, BYO Order allows all self-collect restaurants to use the QR-ordering from their existing POS vendor.
