I never do reviews, but I had to say something. I have been using the Mood app for years and have always really liked it with all of the customization you can do. I absolutely despise this new update that just came out! The appearance is terrible. I really do not like how it separates your list of texts by date and the fact that everything is in boxes. Ugly and annoying.

I love this app, and have used it for a few years across a couple of phones. Until the update I got yesterday, I would have rated it five stars. I hate, hate, HATE the new chat list layout. Enough that I'm looking for a new SMS app to replace Mood. Speaking as a software developer, it's been my experience that changing the basic look of an app all at once with no legacy or revert option is a great way to drive a lot of users away.

I loved this app until the recent update. It looks hideous with the new design in the chat list. I was able to fix the bubbles in the chats at least. I might switch to another app since the reason I chose mood was to have a customizable background but now we can't even see that because of the way the chat list is. Too bad since every other feature is superb. I am so glad I had not gone ahead and paid for the premium version yet like I planned to. Give us the option to use the previous design.
