Calvi is a food diary you can write to in plain sentences.
Write the way you speak: "two eggs and toast with butter", "300 ml of water", "a bowl of borscht". Nora, the assistant, reads the sentence, finds the dish and logs calories, protein, fat and carbs. If the weight is missing she asks for it, and offers sensible amounts you can pick with one tap.
A photo instead of words
Take a picture of your plate and Nora tells you what is on it and what it costs you. The photo is never stored: it lives exactly as long as the analysis takes and never reaches the database.
What the app keeps
• Calories, protein, fat and carbs for every day
• Water
• Weight and body measurements
• Workouts and calories burned
• Medications with scheduled reminders
Your daily norm
The norm is calculated with the Mifflin-St Jeor formula from your height, weight, age and activity level. You choose the goal and the pace, and the app says plainly how many weeks it will take, and when the pace is too aggressive to hold.
Nora remembers
Say "I don't eat pork" once and you never have to repeat it. Allergies are checked against what a dish is made of, not against its name, so peanuts hidden in a sauce do not slip through.
Your own reference
Log your homemade borscht once and it counts the same way next time. Your dishes live apart from the shared reference and never change it for anyone else.
Analytics without decoration
Weeks and months as charts: calories, weight, macros. You see the trend instead of one bad day.
Works without an account
The app is ready from the first second, with no email and no password. Signing in with Google does one thing: it lets you bring your entries back on a new phone.
Honest about the numbers
Calorie values are an estimate. For packaged food they come from the label, for dishes they are averages. Calvi is a logging tool, not a medical device and not a doctor. Decisions about your health stay with you and your physician.
A food diary that understands plain sentences. Or just a photo of your plate.
