Cam10 is a camera app that recreates the way phones and compact cameras rendered images around 2010, before computational photography and AI processing turned everything too ‘artificial.’

The look is baked in at capture. There is no filter to pick and no editing step. You point, shoot, and the photo is developed the way that era's hardware would have developed it, including the optical quirks that modern pipelines remove.

The image pipeline is hand-built, developed by studying hundreds of real digicam images over various lighting conditions. Images are tuned to come out social media-ready with no further touch-up required.

TWO PROFILES

Digi - cooler and sharper, closer to an early digital compact.
iPhone4 - warmer and moodier, closer to a 2010 phone camera.

WHAT IT DOES

- Renders every shot through a hand-built image pipeline
- Uses your phone's real lenses, including ultrawide and telephoto where the hardware has them
- Optional "Shake Effect" simulation for the handheld feel of a camera without stabilisation
- Exposure and warmth dials with tactile detents
- Ultra HDR output on displays that support it

PRIVACY

Cam10 has no internet permission at all. Your photos never leave your device. There is no account, no tracking, no analytics, and no uploading.

Photos are saved to your gallery under Pictures/Cam10.

Tuned and tested on Galaxy, Pixel, and Nothing devices. Requires Android 8.0 or later.
