This is a guide for people walking the Camino de Santiago / Camino Francés. It includes the following information: walking directions, information about accommodation and services, route and urban maps, and background historical and cultural information. It has been updated in late 2017 with details of new pilgrim hostels which opened in the course of 2016 and 2017.
This is a very simple app with no fancy stuff like GPS tracking or user interaction or pointless "social networking". In fact, once you've installed it, it will never download or upload any data (so no roaming data shocks!). It's also free of advertising.
The information is organised hierarchically to make it easier to access.
On the first level is an Overview which divides the Camino into ten stages, starting and ending in major Camino cities and towns.
The second level is a list of places with pilgrim accommodation with distances, walking notes and route map.
The third level gives detailed descriptions of each town or village with information about pilgrim accommodation and services, interesting sights and a little about the history of the place. The urban maps are accessible from this level.
