CamWatch - Sync Your CGM to Apple Watch

CamWatch is a companion app for CamAPS FX users who want to display their blood glucose readings on their Apple Watch. By leveraging iCloud contact sync, CamWatch provides a simple way to see your glucose level, trend arrow, and reading time directly on your wrist.

📱 HOW IT WORKS

CamWatch monitors notifications, extracts the BG value and trend arrow then syncs this to a designated iCloud contact. Your Apple Watch automatically syncs contacts from iCloud, so your glucose data appears on your watch face within seconds.

⚙️ SETUP REQUIREMENTS

1. Android 7.0+ device
2. CamAPS FX app installed
3. iCloud account with contacts enabled
4. Apple Watch paired with iPhone
5. Network connectivity

📋 QUICK SETUP

1. Install CamWatch and grant notification access
2. Add iCloud credentials (use app-specific password)
3. Select a contact for glucose display
4. Set Apple Watch to a watch face that support Contacts complication
5. Add the contact to your watch face

• iCloud credentials stored securely using Android encrypted storage
• All communication uses HTTPS encryption
• No data sent to third-party servers

⏱️ SYNC TIMING

iCloud contact sync typically takes 10-60 seconds. The app displays the age of your last reading and sync so you know how current your data is. Readings older than 20 minutes are highlighted in red.
