Fun except for bad mechanic. There are "special events" that really make the balance terrible and you can't turn it off. Makes it to where you either have to guard against it or it tips the balance of an otherwise good game. It'd also be nice to have the ability to replay a map, but they're always regenerated with no seed given. If you could turn off the special events, this would be a much better game and possibly 4-5 stars.

One of the most delightful games there is. No ads, no BS, simple to pick up, difficult to master, and even when you're good you can still lose. As a tip to players trying to make it into the more difficult settings and getting rocked by random events: satellites are your friends! Other tactics: if you are in a strong position against multiple players and reinforcements come for someone not adjecent to you, turn off your satellites and let them through! The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

It is fun, but it quickly becomes boring and annoying when playing practice with an AI on novice, and they continue to get reinforcements and the antarian attacks keep coming to you every couple of minutes when you begin to set up an attack with numbers. Lessen the attacks and reinforcements and will try again. Sucks the fun out of it and ruins the game
