About this app

CanEat is designed to help you with your dietary needs navigate through endless tables of contents with small print, poor contrast and behind the fold.

In CanEat you can create filters for what you cannot eat, share the filters with friends and acquaintances and go to the store and scan barcodes to find out whether the food can be eaten or not, either based on your own filter or based on a composite filter, e.g. for birthday visits. Information about the food can be zoomed in or listened to and feedback about whether a food can be eaten or not is indicated with a color code, symbol and vibration, so that as many people as possible can use CanEat.

This is how CanEat makes everyday life easier, spends less time planning and becomes more social, while family, friends, family and colleagues become better hosts/hostesses.

Great app to have, I don't have any allergies myself but I know people who does and this will definitely help me help them feel more included when they come over for meals or we are planning something together.

What's new

Current version updates:

1. Splash Screen Freeze Fix: We've addressed an issue causing the freeze on the splash screen. Enjoy a smoother start-up experience without delays!

2. Scanner Behavior Enhancement: Resolved a program behavior where the scanner incorrectly marked products without allergens as "Yes," even when no filter was selected. Now, the app accurately reflects allergen information, providing you with reliable results every time.
