A digital tasbih that behaves like the real thing.
Thirty-three beads on a ring, an imame at the bottom, and a tassel hanging from it. To count, tap anywhere on the screen — there is no small button to aim at, so you can keep your eyes closed, hold the phone one-handed, or leave it in your pocket.
COUNTING WITHOUT LOOKING
The whole screen is the button. A short vibration marks every 33, and a longer pattern tells you a round has closed, so you can keep count without checking the display. Turn on the bead sound if you want it; with your phone on silent it stays quiet.
Pocket mode goes further: the screen goes dark and you count with the volume keys. Useful while walking, on a bus, or any time you would rather not hold a lit screen in front of you.
TWENTY-THREE DHIKR, WITH MEANINGS
Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar, Allahumma salli ala Muhammad, Astaghfirullah, La ilaha illallah, La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah, Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakil, Bismillahirrahmanirrahim, Sayyid al-Istighfar, Ayat al-Kursi, al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq, an-Nas and more. Each is shown with its meaning and opens at its customary count.
PRAYER TASBIHAT
After salah, one tap starts the full tasbihat: Ayat al-Kursi, 33 Subhanallah, 33 Alhamdulillah, 33 Allahu Akbar, then the tawhid. The app moves on to the next step by itself.
You can add your own with any target you keep: 100, 313, 1000, or anything else. Every dhikr holds its own counter, so you can leave one unfinished, start another, and come back later without losing your place.
THE NINETY-NINE NAMES
Asma-ul-Husna has its own page. All ninety-nine names, each with its Arabic script, its transliteration and its meaning — Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahim, Al-Malik, Al-Quddus and the rest. Tap any name to count it, and its count is kept separately like every other dhikr.
SIX BEAD MATERIALS
Amber, cat's eye, black jet, mother of pearl, rosewood and turquoise. Each is drawn from the way that material actually handles light: amber is fossilised tree resin and glows from within, cat's eye gathers light into a single bright band, mother of pearl shifts colour as the bead turns, and jet — the black stone of Erzurum — has the deepest colour and the sharpest sound.
Finish the tassel with a crescent and star, a tughra, a tulip or a rosette, the way a silver cap is fitted to a real tasbih.
A HABIT YOU CAN KEEP
Set a daily reminder at a time that suits you, and the app keeps a streak of the days you did not miss. Both are optional — leave the reminder off and nothing is sent.
Your counts are saved as you go. Close the app, restart the phone, come back a week later; the number is where you left it.
NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-IN
The app does not ask for your name, your email, or anything else. There is nothing to register. Your counts stay on your phone, and counting works with no internet connection at all.
