according to this:
If you have any of those models, please check if it has one of the streaming receivers to see if it's compatible to cast to TV.

Castify does not modify the video sources. It only sends the original source to your streaming receivers. The app does not hosts any content. Therefore the compatibility and availability of the videos are dependent on the source websites themselves.

-This app only casts from websites that uses public format. Proprietary video & movie formats will not cast to TV.

-If a video is not playing or a disconnection occurs, it could be several reasons:
1. The ISP(Internet Service Provider)
2. The source website itself
3. Insufficient WIFI signal strength

-Ensure your WIFI connection is stable and on the same network. Streaming online movies to TV requires a good internet connection.
-Most connection problems can be resolved by restarting the casting receivers or phone.
-Flash movie websites are not supported by stream device manufacturers.

Used this app for close to 2 years now. For the last 4 months it just stopped connecting to my TV. I've updated both app and TV. Force reset, checked connections, reinstalled apps. No longer works and I give up with it. Even tried manually establishing a link via IP address, gateway and Mac ID and even going as far as to use other proxies like Googles IP. Nothing works. However, when it was working. No ads, my ROKU (physical) remote functions all worked, best casting app I tried of 3.

Hi, please email for help with this issue. Thanks

Have a Chromebook and many of the Google Play apps don't work very well (or at all!) on a Chromebook. This is one of them. Right on the first use, and I got a "null" response. It did offer to help if I was willing to supply information and submit to their website, but why bother jumping through hoops and rying to fix an app that won't even work on its first launch?

I enjoy the ease and the many ways on which the app taskkills... Very robust, yet I'm a bit leery of the information collecting and personal data mining. I may be wrong, for I am no expert, yet there was some disturbing code left behind with one of the apps I got in a group along with this one. So giving it another try, also - the onetime - payment subscription is a bit misleading, figuring the server side has a bit weekly charge.
