The Klein Tools WiFi Borescope App enables your smartphone to work as the ET20 borescope screen and memory. You can easily and efficiently control the light on the camera end of the borescope, and record and share photos and video all through the App.

it's a great idea and invention. The camera could use more of an upgrade and a better flash light... that's why I give it 5 STARS. Go ahead and DEDUCT 3 of them for how the app is garbage. freezes up every minute, then stops working for video while the flash light is available... I even switched to static ip and worked better for a shorter amount of time. my pet gecko is gone, and I don't know where he is. he might be stolen by gangstalkers to sell, easy 3k but priceless familiy to me :(:::

Disappointed. Image response to movement is very sluggish. Turning off cellular data as recommended in another review help significantly. In dark areas, which is where one would often need such a device, it seems to have a lot of problem focusing at any distance except an inch or two, even with light at full intensity.

App is absolute bare minimum, just enough to function. Connects only with wifi from ET20 ET20 has severe problem when battery fully discharges. When connected to charger, design defect causes camera to be destroyed. Had not used it for a long time. Turned it on... nothing. connected to power. Camera worked, so I let it charge several hours until full. Connected with app, black screen. Research shows this is a known failure mode where the device destroys itself. ET20 is now trash.
