Rotia Decks is an offline flashcard app built on the five-box Leitner method — here are the questions people ask first.
What is it?
A place to build flashcard decks and study them with spaced repetition, wrapped in a calm chalkboard look: deep green, chalk-white lettering, a touch of yellow.
How does the studying work?
Every card lives in one of five boxes. Rate a card "Good" and it climbs a box and comes back less often — after 1, 2, 4, 7, then 15 days. Rate it "Again" and it drops to box one for tomorrow. The cards you know fade into the background; the stubborn ones keep coming round.
What can I put in it?
Anything you learn by recall — capitals, vocabulary, formulae, anatomy. Build as many decks as you like, and name, rename, or clear them whenever.
What is the day-to-day like?
Open a deck, tap a card to flip it (with a proper card-turn animation), and mark Again or Good. Add or edit cards as new facts turn up; each one shows its box and when it's next due.
Can I see my progress?
Yes — due today, total cards, decks, mastered (box five), reviews logged, and a chalk bar chart of how your cards sit across the five boxes.
Is there anything to set up?
No. Two starter decks — World Capitals and Spanish Basics — are ready the moment you open it. Delete them once you've made your own.
Does it work offline? Does it need an account?
It works fully offline, and there's no account — nothing you create ever leaves the device. The only buzz you'll feel is a short tap when you rate a card.
