About this app

Most wallpaper apps hand you a grid of finished pictures. Prismio hands you the controls instead. It is a small, obsessively made studio for composing your own home-screen background from a handful of honest ingredients: a pattern, an angle, a count, and a palette you actually chose.

Six patterns do the drawing — a smooth linear gradient, a radial glow, crisp diagonal stripes, concentric rings, an even dot grid, and a woven diagonal mesh. Nudge the angle between four clean steps, push the stripe or ring count up and down until the rhythm feels right, and flick on a soft grain when a flat fill wants a little texture. Every change redraws instantly in a phone-shaped preview card, and that preview is the whole point: what you see there is rendered by the exact same engine that paints your wallpaper, pixel for pixel. No surprises when you apply it.

Color is where a background earns its keep, so Prismio ships with ten curated palettes — Nebula, Deep Sea, Citrus, Ember, Grape Soda and more — each tuned so any pattern reads well in it. When none of them fit the mood, open the palette composer, pick two to five shades from a considered swatch grid, name it, and it lives alongside the built-ins for good. Set any palette active and the studio picks it up straight away.

When a design is right, do something with it. Apply it as your wallpaper in one tap, export a full-resolution PNG to your Pictures for anywhere else you want it, or save the design itself to a gallery of thumbnails you can reopen and keep tweaking later. Nothing is baked in stone; every saved piece drops back into the studio exactly as you left it.

The whole thing is dark by design — near-black canvas, electric violet and cyan accents, type set with room to breathe — and it stays out of its own way. No sign-in, no feed, no clutter between you and the canvas.

Prismio renders everything on your device and reaches for nothing beyond it. It holds two permissions and uses them only when you ask: setting the wallpaper, and saving a PNG to your gallery. There is no analytics, no account, and no network code in the app at all.
