Stream your entire Jellyfin music library from your car's infotainment system. DashTune is an unofficial, third-party Jellyfin client built specifically for Android Automotive OS.

STREAM & BROWSE YOUR LIBRARY
• Browse by latest albums, random discovery, favorites, audiobooks, playlists and folders
• New Folders view explores your libraries by their real folder structure, with "Shuffle all" at every level
• Choose which categories appear on your home screen (pick 2–4)
• Search for artists, albums, playlists, and tracks

OFFLINE PLAYBACK
• Your library is cached on the device, so browsing loads instantly on car start — even before the network is up

• Smart prefetch downloads the next tracks in your queue
• Pre-warm all your favourites for guaranteed offline playback
• Configurable cache size from 100MB up to Unlimited
• Resumes your queue automatically when the car starts before its connection is ready
• Seamless playback even without network connectivity

AUDIOBOOKS
• Browse audiobooks by folder and collection, with full multi-chapter playback
• Playback position syncs to your Jellyfin server, so you can resume on any device
• Chapter progress shown right in the browse screens
• Shuffle switches off automatically for audiobooks and comes back for music

PLAYBACK CONTROLS
• Play, pause, skip, and seek with shuffle and repeat modes
• Favorite/unfavorite tracks directly from the player
• Automatic playback state persistence — resume right where you left off
• Playback reporting and scrobbling to your Jellyfin server

EASY AUTHENTICATION
• QuickConnect — pair with a simple code from your Jellyfin dashboard
• Username and password login
• Connect to servers with a self-signed or unrecognised HTTPS details and approve it yourself
• Approved certificates are pinned exactly and can be removed anytime in Settings
