Ratings and reviews

Looked like it would save me money at first, but compared a few stations to their associated app, found several where Presto's discounted price is higher than if I just went through the relevant app. For example, a Chargepoint station showed as 74 cents per kWh, discounted from a dollar per kwh. The same station shows as 50 cents per kWh on Chargepoint's app.

Switching from a gas powered vehicle to an EV is a stressful experience no matter what, but this app makes the charging part very simple. You just open the app, it shows you your best options, you match up the name of the charger in the app(they all have these random names that will be posted somewhere on the front of the machine), hit a couple buttons and boom you're good. You can save money if you get the ProMax PrestoPass, and they have other deals if you just want to pay as you go.

app consistently crashes and does not communicate with machines while presto is doing nothing to solve this issue on top of not having 24 hour support. while I attempt to charge my car after or before work it is hours away from support helping. even when they answer they can't do anything. evgo works fine with the same chargers presto says is having issues.
