I love that I can get the Charlotte news on my phone. Don't get me wrong. And I love that. I can get notifications pushed to my phone when something happens. Great. what is so incredibly frustrating is trying to read an article from a push notification. I pressed the notification, it takes me to the app, the article comes up and then it tells me to log in. so I log in. And after that does it take me to that article... no! it takes me to the home page. Good luck for me trying to find the article.

Update from Dec 2024. App still unusable. When clicking on an article, it usually crashes. Still does not stay logged in. Dec 2024Lots of bugs but rarely updates to fix them. Clicking on an article frequently crashes the app. As a subscriber, I now have to sign in EVERY time. Didn't used to do that.

I cancelled my subscription due to how poorly their app functioned. It would generally show me potentially interesting headlines but would usually not recognize my subscription to let me actually read the news. Other times I would try to search for an interesting article I saw on another platform, but could never locate it in the app. Overall this app does a great job of not showing the news.
