Challenge Stockfish 18 — the strongest chess engine on the planet — at six difficulty levels from casual beginner (~700 Elo) all the way up to Master (~3000 Elo). Whether you're learning your first opening or sharpening your endgame technique, there's a level that challenges you just enough.

🧠 MEET YOUR COACH
Download the optional on-device Gemma 4 AI coach (2.5 GB, one-time download, runs completely offline after that). Coach Gemma watches every game in real time and offers natural-language commentary after each move — no cloud required, no subscription, no data leaving your device. Ask her anything: "Why did I lose that pawn?" or "What's my best plan here?"

Opt in to a public profile and compete on the global leaderboard. See your stats, win/loss/draw record, and game history any time. The live leaderboard and profile stats are also accessible directly on the Knightfall website.

Play as a guest (no account required) or sign in with email. Every data-sharing feature — Crashlytics, Analytics, Performance Monitoring, push notifications — is individually opt-out in Settings. No personal data is shared by default until you explicitly choose to.
