Review from A Google User
No longer able to "quick deposit" Not sure when this occurred, but I can no longer use the mobile app to deposit checks on my Samsung Galaxy S5. It used to work just fine...? I have the standard Chase checking account. Please fix!
Since the last update I can't use this app at all. I keep getting an overlay message, called tech support for my phone and they went step by step an couldn't fix it. Went to phone store, they said they never saw that message before an didn't know what to do. Went to tech support website, others had same problem, then said they fixed it but didn't advise others how it was fixed. So will be uninstalling this app until later to see if it is fixed. Sept.2016 still can't use.
The only way I bank I moved to NC from IL 5 years ago. Unfortunately, there aren't any Chase branches ANYWHERE in the state, but I have loved Chase bank for years. So, thanks to the chase mobile app, I can keep my bank!!! It's easy to use, and is compatible with the thumb print scanning on my phone.
Critical flaw Works great as long as you don't have to add a payee; then it fails miserably by letting you fill out ask the required information, but never enable the complete button. Extra points off for lack of in-app feedback reporting.
It is useful but... It should have all the functionality of the desktop version. For instance I deposited a check and it bounced. The ap told me only that it could not read the image of the check. So I went to a branch to deposit it. It turned out that the reason was lack of funds. The laptop version gave the correct reason.
Can't deposit checks with the app I don't hate it, Google Play. I can't use it to deposit checks. In my opinion that is the most useful aspect of the mobile app. I'm on marshmallow and keep up with the updates. Maybe it's a permission problem?
Remember me? Since the latest update, it will not remember my user name even when I check the box to do so. 5 star when corrected. Please fix its kind of annoying.
