No longer able to "quick deposit" Not sure when this occurred, but I can no longer use the mobile app to deposit checks on my Samsung Galaxy S5. It used to work just fine...? I have the standard Chase checking account. Please fix!
Update: This app hasn't functioned for months now. As other recent reviews mention, it just gets stuck in the loading screen. I thought they'd send a fix quickly, but it's been this way for a few months. Hope they finally fix it soon. I'll be managing my account on my laptop in the meantime. Here is my original five star review for the used-to-be-functional app: Very good app, smooth and easy to use.
The app is completely serviceable, when it works. Nothing special, but then again, it doesn't need to be. It's completely functional and does what you want it to do... When it works. Problem is, that's one time in fifty. Typically, I am able to login just fine, but then it just says "Loading..." forever. Everything is loaded behind it (I can see the account balance and a couple recent transactions, but can't interact with anything). Tapping on the screen does not dismiss the "Loading..." message. Pixel XL, Android 8.0.0, October 5th security update.
Completely broken. I used to love using this app. The fingerprint login was a great feature and made it so easy to log into my account and check my balance. Now I can't get past the loading overlay even though I can see my account information is loaded behind it. I've tried manually logging in instead of the fingerprint scan, uninstalling and reinstalling, and it never works.
Loading screen just keeps cycling. Sends the same message about account balances everyday even though no new purchases have been made. Constant nagging about other products. You are better off going to the website. Not sure who's testing the app but they are not doing a very good job. I put in a service ticket asking to not be notified everyday about the same balance that was unchanged for 2 weeks, they told me to turn off the alerts. Rather than notify me once again I should disable the alerts completely... Think about that
Great app when it works. Very well organized and easy to find everything you want. Issue is it keeps getting jammed when I attempt to log in. The loading screen will just sit there and never go away, blocking me from being able to do anything. The only solution I've found is to uninstall and reinstall the app which I have had to do several times
There is something wrong with the app. Every time it loads, it take about 2 minutes to get past the loading popup screen before you can use it. Then you can use it to take an action or sometimes two and then the loading popup menu reappears and will not go away. You are forced to kill the app and repeat the process again until you complete your actions. Very frustrating.
