Subscription-based. Good source of news and news bias, I think. However, it's difficult to be sure, because there is an incredible amount of subscription pressure around an LLM generated news summary. So I didn't read the news. I read an AI summary. If I want to read the actual news, I have to pay this new aggregator for access to links to other news services. That's a bit dodgy. The free version is an advert for the premium version. Features like less of this are locked down.

Nearly 2 months before the renewal date I stopped getting notifications on the app and the app links stopped working, the app was up to date so I couldn't cancel the account from inside and the same day it renews everything from the notifications to the buttons to email updates work after an hour of payment. I paid for 2 years when the service wasn't fully active for one.

Definitely an app that keeps you grounded in both: far left like CNN and far right like Fox News within a middle ground (no pun intended), it's like any other news resource that provides information to others in day-to-day life. It's news worth checking out! Definitely worth the read in my daily mundane life where I can check up on what's happening and more. The only things I wouldn't do is pay $40.00 a year just to read all the news nor do the free trial but minus that, I recommend this app.
