Pigeon racing in Chennai and across Tamil Nadu has always been a sport built on trust and tradition. Chennai Pigeon brings that tradition into the digital age — replacing handwritten registers, manual timekeeping, and disputed results with a secure, GPS-verified, tamper-proof system that every member of the club can trust.
Register your birds
Every pigeon in your loft gets its own profile in the app. Record the ring number, color, sex, year of birth, and full pedigree including father and mother ring numbers. Your loft is always with you — browse your birds, check their race history, and update their details anytime.
Join clubs and race together
Search for your club inside the app and request to join. Once your club admin approves you, you're part of the club and can see upcoming races, enroll your birds, and participate in results. Club admins can invite members directly from their contact list, making onboarding simple even for first-time smartphone users.
Live race participation
When race day arrives, open the app and go to your race. The moment your bird lands at your loft, take a photo directly from the app. Every photo is automatically stamped with the exact GPS coordinates of where it was taken, the precise arrival time using an NTP-synchronized clock, and a secure digital signature — so no one can alter the time or fake a location after the fact.
Your photo goes straight to the club admin for review. Once approved, your result — finishing position, flight distance, and velocity — is calculated and published to the leaderboard instantly.
Tamper-proof results you can trust
Every arrival photo submitted through Chennai Pigeon is validated by our secure cloud system before a result is recorded. The system checks that the photo was taken within the race window, that the GPS location is close to your registered loft, that the timestamp is genuine and not manipulated, and that the submission follows the correct sequence. Results that fail any of these checks are flagged automatically. This means no false results, no backdated photos, and no disputes — just honest racing.
Club management for admins
Club admins get a full set of tools to run their club:
Set up races with a name, liberation point, start time, and end time. Create multiple categories within a race — each with its own color, timing, points ladder, and entry counts. Pause and resume a race if weather causes a delay. Approve or reject arrival photos with a single tap, with the photo, GPS location, and timestamp shown side by side for easy verification.
Once the race is closed, export a complete results PDF or generate individual winner certificates for every category. Certificates include the bird's ring number, owner's name, finishing position, velocity, flight distance, and race details — ready to print and hand out.
Champions board
Club admins can recognise outstanding fanciers with a dedicated Champions page. Add a champion entry with the fancier's name, achievement, race, and a photo. The Champions page is visible to all club members and celebrates the best performers in the club's history.

Works offline too
Chennai Pigeon is built to work even when your network is unreliable. Results, bird data, and club information are cached locally on your device. Arrival photos queued during poor connectivity are uploaded automatically once your connection is restored — so a weak signal on race day never costs you a result.
