ChildStep helps families turn big goals into small, doable daily steps — together.

A parent or guardian sets up the family, adds their children, and plans goals. Each goal breaks down into steps — the small everyday tasks that add up to it — and every step lands on the daily list of whoever it belongs to, child or grown-up. As steps get done, everyone sees the progress on a friendly visual trail — and can send a little "cheer" to celebrate.

START IN A MINUTE
Not sure where to begin? Pick one of twelve ready-made goals, grouped by what matters to families: staying safe, learning, doing it themselves, health, responsibility and money. Learning to swim, reading every day, riding a bike, saving up for something. Each one arrives with its tasks already worked out — the weekly lesson, the practice at home, the milestones along the way — and shared between the children and the grown-ups. Change anything you like.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Start from a ready-made goal, or write your own from scratch
• Set a goal for each child, then break it into steps: the everyday tasks that get it done
• Build a weekly routine the whole family can see
• Tick a step off as it is done, and watch the goal it belongs to fill up
• Send cheers and encouragement when somebody finishes theirs
• Get gentle reminders for the steps you choose, at the time they happen
• See simple insights: streaks, what is done, what is coming up
• Look back together at the week, and write down what went well
• Works offline and syncs across the family's phones when signed in

MADE FOR FAMILIES
ChildStep is designed to be set up and run by a parent or guardian. Children join only through a parent's invite — they never create their own account. Because the app involves children's information, we ask for verifiable parental consent before any child data is collected, and parents can review, export, or delete their family's data at any time.

PRIVACY FIRST
• No ads, and no advertising or tracking SDKs
• We don't sell your data or use it for marketing
• The one outside service we use is crash reporting, and those reports are stripped of your family's names, your photos and the contents of your requests
• The app opens your photo library only (for avatars) — never the camera or microphone
• Your data is encrypted in transit and you can delete it anytime in Settings

ROLES
Organizer (the parent who creates the family), Parent/Guardian (other adults you invite), and Child. Adults manage the family; children focus on their steps.
