Chivo Wallet is the official Bitcoin and Dollar wallet of the Government of El Salvador. Chivo Wallet allows you to send and receive Bitcoin and / or Dollar between Salvadorans without commission, in the same way it allows users to exchange Bitcoin for Dollar or vice versa without commission. Additionally Chivo is compatible with other Bitcoin on-chain and Lightning wallets. One of my favorite Bitcoin wallets is very easy to use and convenient, while in El salvador, you can cash out at any Chivo ATM and deposit cash to purchase Bitcoin. Available to use both lightning and on chain transactions. Highly recommend! This is a great opportunity for vendors and locals to receive and spend bitcoin from tourism who seek to use Bitcoin. Compatible with strike to receive and send via lightning for non salvadorian users.

For those not able to log in on Android phones after downloading the new version, saying it is stuck on El Salvador aera code; you need to change the font of policy on your phone to small. Go to setting font size and style and put it to medium or smaller. Then go back to the app, and it will let you choose your country 😉 YW

It takes around a minute to do the transaction from BTC to dollars or vice-versa! Also when I try to buy BTC and if it is wrong for one number or it was updated before I buy, then I have to wait 3 minutes for nothing. I liked it better when the app was launched, it was so smooth and now it is the opposite!
