ChoiceDx Pro Skin 2 is the successor to ChoiceDx Pro Skin, rebuilt for professional AI skin analysis.
Because the underlying database architecture was fundamentally redesigned, Version 2 is not backward-compatible with the previous version. Both versions remain available so existing users have uninterrupted service during the transition.

What's new in Version 2
Reliability — no more data loss: Every analysis session is saved in real time to a local on-device database. If the app closes unexpectedly or the battery dies, you can resume exactly where you left off. A sync engine uploads data to the cloud automatically once connectivity is restored, enabling full offline analysis.
Speed — faster analysis: A parallel background processing engine reduces the wait time between image capture and AI analysis results and makes screen transitions faster, for smoother client sessions.
Client history — cloud-backed and portable: Analysis records, including images and reports, are stored in a standardized cloud format. Reinstalling the app or switching devices restores full client history automatically, with no data loss.
Maintainability — faster support: Structured logging and error tracking let the support team identify and resolve field issues remotely and more quickly.
