You're the invisible brain of traffic. You touch a traffic light and its axis opens; the crossed lane turns red. That's all you do, and it's enough to make a toy city function or collapse.
You don't drive any cars. You distribute green light seconds, and they're a finite resource: every second you open one lane, you're closing another.
HOW TO PLAY
• Touch a traffic light to open its axis. The amber light lasts a second and a half, and no one gets stuck halfway across.
• Each traffic light cools down for three seconds. There's no way to mash the button: you decide and stick to the decision.
• The traffic lights don't change on their own. Everything that happens out there is your fault.
• Drag a traffic officer to intersections that are getting out of hand.
• Drivers are in a hurry and have little patience. When they get fed up, they honk. If they all honk at once, it's game over.
WHAT MAKES YOUR LIFE COMPLICATED
• Ambulances in a real hurry, which you have to let go first.
• Pedestrians crossing wherever they're supposed to, just when it's most inconvenient.
• Lines that stretch the length of the block and intersections that get tangled up all on their own.
32 LEVELS IN THREE NEIGHBORHOODS
From a single intersection to half the city at once. Three stars per level, and there's always one that resists.
AROUND THE WORLD
Your stars unlock truly famous intersections:
• Shibuya (Tokyo): the tide of people crossing in every direction at once, and you decide when.
• Times Square (New York): yellow taxis and giant screens.
• Padre Anchieta (La Laguna): the roundabout with the highway passing underneath.
• Gran Vía (Madrid): the Carrión, the Callao, and a traffic cop for rush hour.
• Paris: the avenue with the Eiffel Tower in the background and the Arc de Triomphe, six avenues in a roundabout.
• Abbey Road (London): the most famous pedestrian crossing in the world, driving on the left.
Each city has its own trick, and more are on the way.
NO PENALTY AND NO WAITING
No lives. No energy. No countdown to try again. If you mess up a level, you start again instantly, because here, losing is information, not a toll.
Games last two to four minutes. Played with one hand.
Distribute the green light seconds and prevent the city from exploding with honking.
