Update 5/1/2024: love the app. Easy to cancel if can't make the show. My only recent gripe is it keeps signing me out. It never "Remembers Me" for the last week or so. Unsure if it's a bug, but it gets kind of annoying having to sign back in every time I want to make a purchase, use points or view my rewards. 2020 Review: app is easy to use and has good member rewards.

It's a fine app. My issues are the online fees you have to pay off you've paused your membership to try to use up all the credits for all the months there wasn't a good enough movie to bother going to. If I'm using the credits I got while I was a full member, the online fees (which are a rip off in the first place) should be waved just like for all members.

I will admit, I was a bit tiffed that they raised their prices, after having it consistent for many years. But recently made me want to keep using the app. I bought tickets the day before for a movie. But an hour before, I had an emergency and couldn't make it. I tried to refund afterward, but the app prompted me that there was no refund after the movie started. I left an email about my emergency and got a response back with a full refund. Cinemark really cares about their customers!
