About this app
Built by a clarinetist, for clarinetists. Play any music you already have: Clariva listens and shows every note the moment you play it, with its pitch, timing and intonation. No song library, no paid sheet music, nothing to buy first.
EVERY NOTE, THE MOMENT YOU PLAY IT
No waiting for a needle to settle: Clariva measures each note in real time, right on your phone, and draws it as you play. There is no processing afterwards. What you see live is exactly what is saved, so your live feedback and your later analysis always agree.
YOUR MUSIC, NOT OURS
Etudes, orchestra parts, exam pieces, your own warm-up: open whatever is on your stand and play. Clariva works with any sheet music, because it listens to what you play instead of following a score it has to sell you.
INTONATION: KNOW YOUR TENDENCIES
• Note by note: see which notes sit sharp or flat, for example that your low E is always a little flat.
• Over time: see how quickly your intonation settles while you warm up, for example that you start 10 cents low and are in tune after ten minutes. Worth knowing before the first rehearsal with the orchestra.
PASSAGES: FROM SLOW TO TARGET TEMPO
• Record a tricky passage slowly yourself and set its target tempo
• Practice it: Clariva recognizes each attempt automatically
• Compare every attempt with the reference at target tempo, note by note, and listen to both
• See where a note was wrong, early or late, and watch your score climb
CHALLENGES: TEACHER AND STUDENT
Record a passage and send it to a student, a friend or your section as a challenge. They play it, Clariva scores their attempt against your reference, and you see the result. It works with any music you both have, not only with pieces from a catalog.
PROGRESS OVER WEEKS
Time played, notes played, practice days, streaks and tuning tendencies, week by week, so you see progress you would otherwise only feel.
PRACTICE TOGETHER
Follow other clarinetists, share sessions and applaud progress. Every session and passage has its own visibility: private, followers, or public.
MADE FOR CLARINET
Built and tuned for the B-flat clarinet, showing written notes. No extra hardware: the phone's microphone is enough.
PRIVACY
No ads, no tracking, your data is never sold. Delete any session at any time, and request deletion of your whole account from inside the app.
Clariva is free during the launch.
