Puffin Cloud Phone is a game changer to bridge the digital divide. Puffin Cloud Phone has a unique architecture to run virtual phones in the cloud. The apps on a virtual phone are Web Apps in the cloud. It separates a full browser into two halves: Display Rasterization on the device and HTML Rendering in the cloud. The client side is very lean and mean, accounting for only 5% of the code. The server side has a large feature set, accounting for the remaining 95%. Web App performance is primarily determined by the cloud servers rather than the client devices. Puffin Cloud Phone can deliver a premium mobile experience on a budget smartphone.

• Puffin Cloud Phone does NOT support Adobe Flash. The only Puffin app on Android supporting Adobe Flash is the legacy Puffin Web Browser.
• Puffin’s servers are located in the US and Singapore. Geolocation restrictions of the content may occur if you are based in other countries.
• Puffin is blocked in some countries (e.g., China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates) and some educational institutions (e.g., schools in the United States).

This app is a Chromebooks best friend. It acts as a Virtual Desktop and allows you to have icons on the desktop screen. Puffin significantly increases a person's end-point security (cloud computing w/ 128 encryptiom) while giving us a better user experience. Instead of Google sacrificing the CB security to make its product more versatile, Puffin has the ability to gap those needs "while" increasing the security of the CB.

Hey this apps Great! Makes my old phone perform like a new phone.Just testing it out .The app works better than I could have hoped.Its like having a whole phone in a single app.

Puffin Cloud Phone is free to download but requires a paid subscription to function. In this release (10.2.1.70541), we fixed several reported issues. Thanks for using Puffin.
