Preboard turns your travel checklist into a collection of paper preflight chits tucked inside a passport wallet, so every pre-trip detail feels tangible and orderly. It is designed for solo travelers, digital nomads, and students heading abroad who want a focused offline companion that never asks for a login or cloud account. The app stores everything locally on your device, making your departure to-do list available wherever you are, even without a connection. At the center of the experience is the Preflight Chit, a slim task card that captures a short title, a prep area from Documents, Packing, Health, or Home, a due window from T-7 days down to At destination, and a prepared toggle that marks the chit as ready. Tapping the floating add button opens a simple form where you fill in those details and immediately see the new chit appear on the board. Tap any chit to edit its fields, or long press to delete it when it no longer applies, giving you complete control over your staged tasks. The Board tab serves as your dashboard, anchored by two wax seal counters — a deep red one for open chits and a teal one for prepared chits — so you instantly know what still needs attention. Right below the counters, the five most recently added open chits form a compact queue, allowing you to summarize your most pressing tasks without searching. Switch to the Queue tab whenever you need a full picture, because all open chits are grouped by prep area and sorted by due window, turning due dates into a clear, scannable timeline. The Search tab lets you filter chits by task title or prep area in a blink, showing matching slips in a neat list when you need to find a specific item. When a chit is fully prepared, it automatically moves to the Archive tab, where completed tasks are organized by category and can be reopened with a tap or permanently removed via long press. The entire interface feels like unfolding a passport wallet, with task slips overlapping like boarding passes and your progress sealed into simple, readable counters. Because your checklist data never leaves your device, you can confidently stage, check, and reorganize tasks from an airport lounge, a remote train platform, or anywhere offline. Preboard eliminates the last-minute scramble and replaces it with the calm of knowing every document copy, phone charge, and home prep is accounted for before you step onto the plan.
