About this game

BECOME A CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST

HackLab AI is the most immersive mobile hacking simulator ever created. Step into a realistic terminal environment and master the art of ethical hacking through hands-on missions — no prior experience required.

Unlike passive course apps, HackLab puts you directly in the hacker's seat. Type real commands into an authentic terminal, exploit vulnerabilities, and crack into simulated systems. Every mission teaches you actual cybersecurity techniques used by professionals.

▸ AUTHENTIC TERMINAL GAMEPLAY
Type real commands like nmap, sqlmap, and curl into a fully-functional terminal simulator. Every command is parsed, evaluated, and responds with realistic output. Feel the satisfaction of running a successful exploit.

▸ MISSION-BASED PROGRESSION
Progress through three attack phases: SCAN → ANALYZE → EXPLOIT. Each mission teaches a specific skill — from port scanning to SQL injection, credential enumeration to log analysis. Unlock harder challenges as you level up.

▸ AI-POWERED HINT SYSTEM
Stuck on a step? Our intelligent hint engine provides contextual clues at three escalating levels. Get vague nudges, directional tips, or nearly-explicit walkthroughs. Learn at your own pace.

▸ RANK UP FROM SCRIPT KIDDIE TO LEGEND
Earn XP with every completed mission. Progress through five ranks: Script Kiddie → Hacker → Elite → Root → Legend. Compete on the global leaderboard and prove your skills.

▸ DAILY MISSIONS + STREAKS
New mission delivered every day. Build a streak, earn bonus XP, and climb the rankings. Perfect for your daily commute or training session.

▸ REAL CYBERSECURITY SKILLS
- Port scanning with nmap
- SQL injection exploitation
- XSS probing and payload crafting
- Network reconnaissance and enumeration
- Log analysis and forensics
- Web application security testing
- Multi-phase attack chains

▸ SAFE ENVIRONMENT
Every mission runs in a completely simulated environment. No real systems, no real risk. Learn dangerous techniques safely before applying them in legitimate CTF competitions or authorized penetration tests.

▸ EARN BADGES
Unlock achievements: First Breach, Speed Demon, Ghost (zero errors), No Hints, Streak Master, Pro Hacker. Show off your hacker credentials.

▸ GLOBAL LEADERBOARD
See how you rank against hackers worldwide. Track your progress toward the top 1%.

▸ BUILT FOR SERIOUS LEARNERS
Whether you're preparing for a CompTIA Security+ exam, studying for OSCP, or just curious about how real cyberattacks work, HackLab gives you the practical experience no textbook can provide.

▸ PRO SUBSCRIPTION
Upgrade to unlock unlimited missions, advanced scenarios, all difficulty tiers, and unlimited hints. One subscription, full access.

Download HackLab AI now and start your journey from script kiddie to legendary hacker.

▸ PENETRATION TESTING SKILLS
Every mission is hands-on penetration testing practice: reconnaissance, vulnerability analysis and exploitation on a safe simulated network. Capture the flag style objectives, red team tooling concepts, and the cyber security workflow used by real analysts — port scanning, service enumeration, SQL injection and privilege escalation, step by step.

Great idea, poor execution for immersibility. It doesn't ask for correct syntax, but instead asks what tool you use in each step (instead of running "nmap -sV example.site" you just run "nmap"). The bigger issue is it insists on using a specific command instead of using other ones to get more information. An example early in the game was trying to use "ls" to get a file name and it went straight to concatenating the file. Like playing a driving game, but you're operating a vehicle on rails.

Edit: Retried and somehow solved the issue of starting the game... but yeah, it's still not a great alternative for The Lonely Hacker game, but also not a game that doesn't start:) I wasted 20 minutes just to start! and yet, still failed! tried to create an account, it didn't work, and stayed stuck in "Initializing." I tried to enter as a guest, but it still didn't work! I was hoping it would be an alternative for The Lonely Hacker game, but I guess we'll never find out!

Hi Emon, We’re really sorry for the inconvenience. The app is currently being used online by more than 61,000 users, and we haven’t received similar feedback from other users so far. It may be related to the device’s network connection. Could you please check your internet connection, disable any VPN or private DNS if enabled, and try again?

immediately tries to sell you the full version before you even get to do anything and you only get 3 missions on free (unless you accidentally hit back then you lose a mission so sucks to anyone who pops in and out of apps a lot) doesn't even give you a library of its commands just throws you into a mission and when you inevitably get a command wrong it just tells you what to do not exactly teaching so much as just telling overall pretty mediocre and not worth investing
